Rob Holinaty’s combined book setup for Curtains at the Drury Lane Theatre in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
"I am running a microKORG as a MIDI controller through my MacBook Pro into MainStage..."

"The drum book for Curtains usually does not require the extended set up that I am using, however, I am also covering as much of the percussion book as possible in order to reduce the size of the pit. With this in mind, I am running a microKORG as a MIDI controller through my MacBook Pro into MainStage, which has a number of mallet percussion instruments programmed into it as well as a Yamaha DTX-MULTI 12 for the timpani parts.
This show was one that I hadn't heard of before being hired for it, but I have found it to be a lot of fun. There’s enough playing in the percussion books to keep both players interested, and combining the two together creates a full show that keeps me very occupied and invested in the show."
